STATEMENT OF ATOM SCIENCES, INC. CONCERNING ============================================ Atom Sciences, Inc. wants to encourage students studying science. However, past experience shows that many requests originating through our website are simply attempts to bypass more conventional means of research. Therefore, Atom Sciences, Inc. will consider providing information to middle school and high school students only if the request meets the following guidelines: 1). The request is written with proper grammar, capitalization, and punctuation. 2). The student gives his or her name (students should not give out phone numbers or addresses to any stranger by email), grade level, teacher’s name and teacher's email address at the school, school name, a brief statement of the assigned project, and the date by which the information is required. Atom Sciences may inform the teacher about the request. 3). The student states that he or she has already spent time using other available resources such as the library, encyclopedias, and the World Wide Web, to locate basic information. 4). The request is for specific information not available in the resources described in guideline 3. Based upon the type and level of information requested and the current workload of Atom Sciences’ staff, Atom Sciences, Inc. will determine if assistance can be provided. |
